Rehmat Dhamani
Rehmat Dhamani currently lives in Yavatmal, India. She hails from the small town Wadsa. In celebration of her milestone 69th birthday on November 2, 2024 her family from Edmonton, Canada along with JollyGul would like to showcase her amazing talents and skills.
Rehmat is a very loving, caring and friendly person and is well known for her talents, skills, artistic creativity and dedicated passion for gardening, while eager to learn much more every day! For her, age is just a number, and she is truly young at heart. She has been very fond of learning new things and even uses current technology and media to learn and enhance her skills in languages, recipes and artwork.
This gallery is related to her needle art skills of crochet from small items like booties to large items like a throw, with some glimpse of her candle art as well. It is with pleasure that we share that she was also nominated in the Guinness Book of World Records for her Crochet contribution, in creating a 14 Kilometer long crocheted scarf along with her team. This scarf was later divided into standard size scarfs and distributed to a charitable organization.
Along with her love for needle art, she dedicates her time volunteering with people in need. Each year, she travels to smaller towns and assists in candle making, beauty, and other classes for young girls and adults, which helps them to develop and learn a skill as well as become financially independent. The items in this gallery are just a glimpse of her many talents.
